Why would anyone make a voice model of cardboard voice?

And he probably talks for 10 seconds max

because most of the characters don't have canon voices otherwise? the cardboard cutouts are the closest we got

plus you can get clean rips of em by extracting them from the game files

also some people would probably just prefer using his "cartoon" voice and not the real one, like if they wanted to do an animation of the smiling critters or smthn

it'd be kinda jarring for all of em to have the cartoon voices while one of em talks like a grown ass man
