KickinChicken is an anthropomorphic chicken with yellow feathers four-digit wings black eyes a half-moon shaped upper beak and a three-feathered crown extending down the right side of his face. His feet and upper beak have an orange color. He wears a black necklace sporting a ruby-colored star pendant. He has black eyes and white pupils. According to his Twitter description KickinChicken is depicted as the "cool kid" of the Smiling Critters crew. He highly values this representation of himself so he maintains his image through everything he does. This behavior appears in the cartoon's intro where he is seen surfing a sport generally considered to be cool. KickinChicken also has a strong sense of determination as he will emerge unfazed from any tense situation that brings him to his knees.
